
Four-eyed Basilisk is one of the inhabitants of the Nine Worlds who was confirmed to have lived until the Eight Desolates Epoch. In April 2018, an episode of the show Silicon Valley was broadcast, in which the character Gilfoyle mentions the Roko's Basilisk thought experiment (shown below). Four-eyed Basilisk is one of the few beings who know that Li Qiye is the legendary Dark Crow. On December 19th, the Countdown Central YouTube channel uploaded a video titled "10 Scariest Theories Known to Man," which included the Roco's Basilisk thought experiment (shown below). Herpo the Foul was the first to breed a Basilisk he accomplished this by hatching a chicken egg beneath a toad which resulted in the creature known as a Basilisk. On October 6th, 2015, and entry for the thought experiment was created on the LessWrong Wiki. The Basilisk, also known as the King of Serpents, is a giant serpent. The battle for succession that continued for three generations of shogun in the Keichou era culminated in a gruesome battle of ninja arts between the Kouga and Iga clans. The dividing line between head and tail is a point of contention. However, the snake's portion is actually though to be the head, since if a Basilisk is cut in half, the part with the snake head lives longer. Basilisks appear to be chickens with a snake for a tail. On August 4th, Yudkowsky replied to a post on the /r/Futurology subreddit about the thought experiment, in which he explained why he had such a harsh reaction to Roko's post:
